Holodomor-Genocide in Ukraine 1932-1933 Commemoration

Holodomor Committee of Southern California and Ukrainian Culture Center of Los Angeles
invite you to come to the

Holodomor – Ukrainian Famine Genocide Commemoration

at the Ukrainian Holodomor Memorial Monument located at Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles,

located at 200 North Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

Parking is available at the Music Center on Grand Avenue, Lot 14 across from the Grand Park.

 

Special Guests

Victoria Malko: Ms. Malko is a faculty member in the Department of History, and funding coordinator of Holodomor Studies Program at the California State University, Fresno.

Volodymyr Serhiychuk: Mr. Serhiychuk, a Ukrainian historian, writer and politician and professor of Kyiv University, an academician of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine, and author of numerous works and articles.

 

FREE bus pick-up at two locations:
  • 12:30 PM: At Nativity of the BLESSED Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church
    (5154 De Longpre Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027)
  • 1:00 PM: At the Ukrainian Culture Center (4315 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90029)

The bus will return back to the two original pick-up locations after the event.
